London and Brussels

Ciao! I miss using that word and strangely enough, I miss giving my friends Italian greetings every Sunday night!

London was so awesome! I could have stayed there forever. That's partly because they spoke my language and I didn't have a language barrier for the first time in 3 months but the city was just different from all of the other places I have been. We started out the day by going to Krispy Kreme...YUM! I did see all I wanted to see in one day. I saw Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace (and the Changing of the Guard), and the Tower Bridge (that pretty one that is in all of the pictures). We also went up in the London Eye which was really awesome! It is like a ferris wheel but it has enclosed capsules that took you really high up and you can see a lot of London when you are at the top. I loved London and wished we could have spent longer there. I guess it is going on my list of places I want to go back to!!! Anything thing that made London awesome was they had a lot of American things like Dr. Pepper, Doritos and Chili's.

We got to Brussels this morning (Thursday) around 10:00am. We took the chunnel train across but I couldn't tell you anything about the view because I slept the whole way. Our hotel is quite nice I am sitting on a couch by the fireplace now. This city is crazy and quite difficult to get around in. The waffles...well, they are the best thing in this city. I'm not a big fan of Brussels but I am glad that I came here and got to experience it.

Each day as I reach into my suitcase after having it zipped, I pull pieces of the frame out. The frame on one side of it is completely gone. I've decided and faced up to the fact that I'm just going to have to buy a new piece of luggage here soon. It's ok though because I needed new luggage anyway.

Ciao!
