Days Go By

Just so you know, things are much better than they were 2 days ago when I write the last post. Last night, I played basketball and hit the punching bag for a while and just let out all my frustrations and surprisingly, it worked wonders on my mood. That and a friend and I prayed last night before going to bed...that always helps a lot!

We had Thanksgiving last night...because we won't be at the villa next Thursday. :( It was amazing!!!!! I never knew how much I missed American food until we had it last night! The villa was all cute and decorated and we wrote on a tablecloth all the things we are thankful for...it was just a really special time for us! Not to mention there was a 50 lb turkey at the end of the table!!!

Today is technically our last day to be able to go into Florence unless you have time again on Monday but we have a huge final the next day. A group of us is going out to dinner tonight at a really nice restaurant that serves steak and various other things. I don't have to pay because my team won the olive picking contest and we got €25 for winning.

I can't believe this semester is over. It just seems like yesterday that I was on the plane to Detroit anxious to meet the people I would be sharing 3 months of my life with. I can't believe I now have to be separated from the people and place that was the most amazing time in my life! Even if I don't meet these people again on this earth, I will see them again one day in heaven and it will be a joyful reunion!
